The No. 19 Colorado Buffaloes face No. 7 Washington Huskies in two weeks on Saturday, October 20 with kickoff scheduled at 1:30 p.m. MT. The game is featured as the first part of a double-header on FOX along with No. 17 Oregon vs. Washington State. It’s the fifth nationally televised game scheduled for the Buffs thus far this season (New Hampshire and Arizona State were on Pac-12 Networks).
Colorado (5-0) looks to upset the highest-ranked team in the Pac-12, despite the Buffs being the only undefeated FBS team west of the Mississippi. Washington’s (5-1) only loss came in the opening week Chick-Fil-A Kickoff vs. No. 9 Auburn. CU’s last win over Washington came on Dec. 30, 1996 with a 33-21 victory in the Holiday Bowl.
Washington’s toughest test through the first weeks of Pac-12 play comes this week at Oregon. The battle of the one-loss teams kicks off from Autzen Stadium at 1:30 p.m. MT on ABC this Saturday. Colorado will try to break a 91-year winless over USC this week (8:30 p.m. MT/TV:Fox Sports 1).
