Oregon Ducks open as less than touchdown underdogs to Washington Huskies

EUGENE — Both with wins over then-ranked opponents and losses to then-top 10 opponents, No. 17 Oregon opened as less than a touchdown underdog to No. 7 Washington.

An offshore sportsbook opened with The Ducks (4-1, 1-1 Pac-12) as a four-point underdog against the rival Huskies (5-1, 3-0 Pac-12) on Saturday (12:30 p.m.) at Autzen Stadium, according to VegasInsider.com. It will be the 111th meeting between the rivals, it will be just the sixth time they’ll meet as ranked teams.

In May, Oregon opened as a 10-point underdog to Washington at the South Point casino.

Oregon is coming off its bye week, prior to which it beat then-No. 24 Cal 42-24 in Berkeley.

Washington is coming off a 31-24 win over UCLA at the Rose Bowl and has won the last two meetings in the series by a combined score of 108-24, including last year’s 38-3 win in Seattle. Prior to 2016, Oregon won 12 straight in the series.
