The popular Rose Bowl Recreational Loop closes early Saturday at 7:30 a.m. and stadium parking lots open at 10:30 a.m. for today’s UCLA versus Washington game.
Rose Bowl officials said that the Fan Zone activities in Area H begin at 12:15 p.m. The stadium gates open at 2:50 p.m.
West Pasadena residents should expect a military jets flyover at about 4:45 p.m., which is about 30 minutes before game time.
They should also expect both a pyrotechnics show and a 15-second airhorn blast at about the same time, Bowl officials said.
The total pyrotechnics display is planned to last fewer than 20 seconds.
The Loop reopens at 11:00 p.m. The Arroyo Seco’s Equestrian Trail will remain open at all times today.
Officials said residents needing information or who have any concerns that may arise in the stadium area or neighborhoods related to the UCLA game can call the Rose Bowl Event Day Hotline at (626) 397-4141 from 10 am. to 10 p.m.
