Scouting report: The first of three games in the Vancouver Showcase for Washington, which prevailed 66-63 on Monday against San Diego in Seattle. … The Huskies play Texas A&M on Tuesday and Minnesota on Wednesday. … This is the first year for the Vancouver Showcase, which is being played on a makeshift floor in the Vancouver Convention Center. … Jaylen Nowell has not scored fewer than 16 points in a game this season. … Matisse Thybulle ranks 15th nationally in blocks per game (3.0) and 13th in total blocks (nine). … He also leads the Pac-12 in steals per game at 2.67, which ranks 48th nationally.
