After three weeks of the NFL season, several former Washington Husky football players are off to great starts and a few are playing key roles for their teams.
We scanned the stat lines for every former Dawg currently active in the NFL and listed how the contributed to their teams during the third week of the season and gave an update on how their seasons are going so far.
One thing that is sticking out so far is that Washington linebackers are having big impacts with their teams as Cory Littleton (Los Angeles Rams), Mason Foster (Washington Redskins) and Shaq Thompson (Carolina Panthers) each start and play on special teams. Littleton has been one of the biggest surprises of the season in that he made the move to inside linebacker, a position he never played in high school or college, and he’s been and impact player there for the Rams including a couple of big plays on special teams that helped turn things around for his team during their last two games.
If a player is not listed in this week’s report, he was either inactive or he did not post a statistic.
