The first month of the NFL season wrapped up on Monday and there were a bunch of Huskies who continued to make big impacts on their teams.
One rookie, Vita Vea, made his pro debut last Sunday for the Buccaneers in their 48-13 loss to Chicago. He got a handful of snaps, but did not post a statistic, so he won’t be included in this report. However, he’s expected to see more and more action in the coming weeks and should be a mainstay in this report the rest of the way, provided he stays healthy.
There were also several other former Washington players who did not record a stat, but did play in their teams’ games including Jacksonville wide receiver Jaydon Mickens, Denver linebacker Keishawn Bierria, Houston offensive lineman Senio Kelemete, Philadelphia tight end Josh Perkins, San Francisco wide receiver Dante Pettis and New England defensive tackle Danny Shelton as well as two — Shaq Thompson (Carolina) and Mason Foster (Washington) — whose teams had byes last week.
