For a time, the Washington Huskies had very few former players in the NFL, but that has changed over the past decade and there currently are 22 players on rosters.
Of the 22 players currently on NFL rosters, five are rookies — WR Dante Pettis (San Francisco), DL Vita Vea (Tampa Bay), DB Ezekiel Turner (Arizona), TE Will Dissly (Seattle) and LB Keishawn Bierria (Denver) — and there are five more who are second-year players.
It was a good week for former Huskies with three catching their first professional touchdowns and several more putting up big statistics with top teams.
We scanned all of the statistics and have put together a comprehensive list of the players who posted statistics. If anyone isn’t listed, it’s because they were either inactive — Jermaine Kearse with the New York Jets and Vea — or they didn’t post a listed statistic even though they were active for the game.
