Huskies, Cougars headline final 2018 Pac-12 power rankings

It’s been exactly two weeks since the Washington Huskies beat the Utah Utes to win the Pac-12 and clinch a trip to the Rose Bowl, giving the dust from the regular season time to settle.

The Cougs are probably still smarting from a tough Apple Cup loss to the Huskies and a New Year’s Six game snub, while bowl bound teams like Stanford, Oregon, Cal and Arizona State can likely be found lamenting what could have been.

Others, like USC, UCLA, Oregon State and Arizona will be watching their conference foes play in bowl games while hoping to be in their shoes next year.

As for Colorado? They’re probably still trying to figure out how on earth they lost seven straight after a 5-0 start to the season.

In some ways, the 2018 season was a Pac-12 classic. There were plenty of talented teams, and they spent the whole year beating each other up. As a result, the conference was once again left out of the College Football Playoff.
